Kneecap on Trial: A Campaign by Us

As long-time collaborators with Belfast rap group Kneecap, we’ve always believed in backing artists who speak truth to power. So when Mo Chara was brought before a London court on terrorism-related charges, we knew silence wasn’t an option.

In the days leading up to the trial, we took to the streets of London with a campaign designed to provoke thought, challenge power, and stand in solidarity. We projected a bold message across three key locations; Camden’s Electric Ballroom, County Hall at South Bank, and the Strand alongside a billboard takeover in Westminster. The message:
“MORE BLACKS. MORE DOGS. MORE IRISH. MO CHARA.”

The campaign drew major media attention, with coverage from Al Jazeera, ITV News, Irish Times, Reuters and the Press Association, and sparked a wave of conversation online.

This wasn’t about making noise for its own sake. It was about showing up for the artists we believe in, and for the right to creative and political expression.
