RE-TURN: CHANGING THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE NATION

The brief

In summer 2023, we received an invitation to pitch from Re-turn, the people behind Ireland’s planned Deposit Return Scheme rollout for plastic bottles and cans. With a promise to be the biggest thing in environmental behaviour change since the plastic bag tax, it was an offer we couldn’t refuse…

So following the competitive pitch in Summer 2023, we were delighted to have been awarded the contract to create the launch for Re-turn Irelands nationwide recycling initiative. Creating behaviour change is difficult and starting with whip smart strategic positioning was crucial. With creative working hand-in-hand with strategy, Bring It Back was born, a comms platform filled with can-do attitude, poppy visuals, and a tune you might just recognise…  

We’re particularly proud of the fact that the entire launch campaign was created in-house, from strategy, to creative, production, filming, editing, motion graphics, photography, digital and social assets. The resulting campaign went live all over the country in January 2024, with TV, OOH, DOOH, radio, digital and social creative getting the country ready for change for the better before the scheme officially went live in shops and supermarkets on 1st February 🚀
